Costs
Professional driving abilities are becoming increasingly crucial in a world which places a lot of importance on transport, both for economic activity and for the movement of people and goods. However, acquiring this skill isn't cheap. It is necessary to consider a variety of costs, such as the cost for training and the exam. In the Netherlands, obtaining Code 95 may cost as much as 3000 euros. Fortunately, the expenses associated with acquiring this certificate are much lower in Poland where they can be as low as 1500 to 2000 PLN.
For truck drivers, the Code 95 certificate is necessary to operate trucks that weigh more than 7.5 tons in Europe. The certificate has to be added to a driver's license category C or C+E and is valid for five years. It can also be added to C1 or C1E licences which permits the driver to drive lighter trailer combinations.
To obtain a Code 95 certificate, you must undergo a medical exam and take the psychotest. After completing the course you will receive the plastic Code 95 certificate that can be added to your driving licence. The course fee includes a medical examination, PKZ service and payment for the plastic Code 95 Certificate.
The cost of a Code 95 Certificate is the same as other types of driving courses. It is also important to remember that the course must be offered at a CBR-approved driving school. Trainers must adhere to strict CBR procedures. For instance in the event that the student is absent from a class, the trainer must inform the CBR immediately.
The student must then go to the Road Traffic Safety Directorate and apply for an updated license. The deadline for replacing the licence is six month from the date that the course was completed. This is to ensure that the driver has the required level of knowledge and competency for driving heavy-duty vehicles. In addition the driver should be able to read kilometer and speed limit signs on the road.
Training options
The code 95 on a driver's license indicates that you have completed the mandatory training to drive buses or trucks professionally. There are two types of training for Code 95: the long course and the shorter course. The long course lasts for about four weeks, and it concludes with a governmental test. After passing the exam you will be issued an ID card made of plastic. The card must be submitted to the unifying European certificate database. The school where you studied will then send it to the database. The card will be processed within 14 days.
The cost of the course is around 2,000 PLN, and the examination costs 300 PLN. You'll have to pay an additional fee to the school in order for them to enter your certificate to the unification of the European database. Once the card has been created you can take it to the school.
To be able offer an educational course that is able to issue Code 95, you must adhere to certain guidelines as trainer. You must first submit a plan of instruction to the CBR. This plan must be approved by the CBR prior to classes begin. You will also be required to follow other strict procedures throughout the course.
You will receive an acknowledgement from the CBR once you have completed the course successfully. The certificate can be mailed to the RDW. The RDW will then allow you to renew your license at the municipality after submitting successfully. Exams
To obtain the code 95 on your licence, you must pass both theoretic and practical exams.
